HISTORY
Te Whena Limited is a company created from the humble beginnings of Te Reweti Te Whena. A gentleman, a scholar and a priest of the Ratana faith. Born in 1870, he grew up in the Waikato Region and evently made his residence in Taranaki and Rangatiki. Finally ending his time as an Apotoro at Ratana Pa - May 1945.

The history of the company steems from the pioneering days of Te Reweti Te Whena, who was a trail blazer in his own right. He was a lawyer and a statesman, travelling to England in this photo with a delegation to pleed a case before King George V - 1925.

Nikora went to New Plymouth Boys' High School and achieve an award for the Top Maori Student in his 6th form year and then was given the role as the Head Prefect for Moyes House (Boarding Establishment).
​
Continuing his career path into the Royal NZ Navy as a Gunner and serving in the Arabian Gulf. He served 8 and 1/2 years in the Navy and reached the rank of Leading Gunner. After a brief spill in civvy life, he went into the NZ Army as a Gunner once again. He did a tour to Afghanistan in 2007 and served for 4 and 1/2, reaching the rank of Bombardier.

After leaving the services he created a company called Life Challenge Ltd and thats were he honed his skills as a Life Coach.

Te Whena Limited is Nikora's brain child and will be his LEGACY.
